Kham Phan, 38, and Bun Ma, 34, both from Savannakhet province, were detained by Quang Tri border officers and Lao police while preparing to illegally cross the border with the drugs.
They admitted purchasing the drugs in the Lao capital, Vientiane, and planned to transport them to Vietnamese dealers for sale.
The two men and the exhibits were handed to Lao police for further investigation.-VNA
