General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Lao President Choummaly Sayasone made the statement while receiving Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla in Vientiane on September 12.
He took the occasion to thank the Cuban Party, Government and people for their assistance in education and health.
Parrilla congratulated Laos on its recent socio-economic development achievements, affirming that Cuba will continue promoting collaboration with Laos in areas of its strength.
Highlighting Laos’ effective cooperation and support, the minister expressed wish that bilateral ties in economy, trade and investment will flourish in the future.-VNA
