Leading VN-Laos defence officials meet in Hanoi

delegation from the Laos Ministry of National Defence headed by
Lieutenant General Chansamone Channhalat, Deputy Defence Minister, in
Hanoi on Feb. 29.

At the reception, Thanh thanked the Laotian Party, State and Ministry of National Defence for rewarding Vietnam ’s Defence Ministry organisations and individuals. He elaborated on the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos .
He said Vietnam will support proposals put forward by Laos Ministry of National Defence and help Laos to train up cadres, adding that Vietnam is willing to receive Laos Army recruits to study and train in Vietnam.-VNA
