Eighteen-year-old Ly Hoang Nam has inched forward one notch to stand at the 12th position in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior boys’ rankings.

The Vietnamese player has rocketed 34 places forward to be seeded No. 1,242 in the world rankings due to his impressive achievement in the Wimbledon tournament.

He became the first Vietnamese to grab a title at the world’s oldest tennis championship, Wimbledon, after he paired with Sumit Nagal of India to win the boys’ doubles event.-VNA
