Makeup programme fuels women's strength to fight breast cancer
"Make up your life", a programme helping breast cancer patients to overcome suffering and rekindle the joy of life through makeup, took places in Hanoi on May 12.

The event in Hanoi was organised following the two similar activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
The programme is inspried by a skin care and makeup campaign for breast cancer patients with the same name in the Republic of Korea.
Vu Thi Lan Huong, 32, was found to have breast cancer five years ago. She said she has become more happy thanks to the programme.
Huong believes that good spirit is the best medication to cure all diseases.
"Make up your life" has helped more than 8,000 patients in the Republic of Korea and China.
The programme in Vietnam is organised by the support fund for cancer patients - Bright Future Fund of the Ministry of Health, and Sinh vien Vietnam newspaper.
Aside from makeup, participants will receive treatment and psychology advice from experienced doctors.
Makeup artists will help patients re-gain their beauty and confidence.
The programme is based on the belief that outer beauty will fuel patients' strength to weather diseases and life difficulties.
Happy smiles are seen on the face of the brave women in the fight against diseases.
