Malaysian police captured 63 illegal workers at a raid on entertainment outlets in Johor Bahru on April 11.

Johor Bahru Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said 50 police officers took part in the raid, which searched 8 outlets across the locality.

Fifty-five of the total people arrested are female, aged between 25 and 37 from Vietnam and China.

They violated different regulations, including not having legal employment contracts and illegal immigration.

Investigation is underway to handle these violators in line with the local law.-VNA
