Kuala Lumpur (VNA) - Malaysia has announced its Islamic Fund and Wealth Management Blueprint for 2017 – 2021, the national news agency Bernama reported.

The 51-page blueprint consist of three strategic points to strengthen Malaysia's position as a global hub for Islamic funds, a regional centre for shariah-compliant sustainable and responsible investment, as well as an international provider of Islamic wealth management services.

The plan also outlines 11 recommendations for Malaysia to achieve its desirable status by 2021, with focuses on addressing growth impediments and identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.-VNA
