Most of the foreign diplomatic missions in Tokyo , Japan have reopened after a short temporary evacuation out of concern about the radioactive leakage at the nuclear power plant in Fukushima Prefecture .

As the situation at the Fukushima nuclear power plant no 1 shows signs of improvement, many countries have lifted or eased restriction on activities in Tokyo , the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said. Up to April 20, of a total 32 countries that has closed after the incident, only four embassies – Angola , Burkina Faso , the Republic of Dominica and Kosovo – were yet to reopen.

Travel warnings against Japan in the United Kingdom and the US have been lifted while France cancelled recommendations on not staying in Tokyo and adjacent areas.
