Nestled on Son Tra Peninsula, Dong Dinh Museum is an ideal place for nature lovers. It is a peaceful place to see wonderful art and valuable antiques.

The museum is also a venue where nostalgic visitors can indulge in a garden of memory, which features recreations of garden houses and villages typical of the central region.

The museum opened to the public in 2011 and has become one of Da Nang’s tourist attractions.

Its owner, artist Doan Huy Giao, has spent more than 30 years collecting artefacts from across the country and another 10 years building his privately-owned museum, which is the first of its kind in the central region.

The Dong Dinh Museum – a Memory Garden is also a place where ecologic forests are conserved, the space of art-culture is promoted and traditional values are maintained.-VNA
