Military Exploit Order bestowed on Military Zone 7
The armed forces of Military Zone 7 was honoured with the Military Exploit Order, first class, during a ceremony celebrating the zone’s 70th anniversary of traditional day (December 10) in Ho Chi Minh
At the ceremony (Source: VNA)It was also honoured with the Isala Order of Laos, second class, and the Friendship Order of Cambodia, first class, on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Chief of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army, General Ngo Xuan Lich hailed achievements that the Military Zone 7 has made over the past time.
He asked its armed forces to thoroughly grasp the Party’s resolutions and the government’s policies on national defence in the new context, build a strong staff and promote defence relations with neighbouring countries.
They were also urged to prevent and foil any acts of sabotage by hostile forces, deserving the trust of the Party and people.
Attending the event were Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Tea Banh and former Vietnamese Party and State leaders.-VNA
