Hanoi (VNA) – More than 20km of caves in the central province of Quang Binh have been discovered by explorers from the British Cave Research Association (BCRA).

Sai Gon Giai phong (Liberated Saigon) daily reported that the BCRA team, led by Howard Limbert, featured than 40 team members, including experts, guides and porters.

Data from the newly detected caves will be released soon.

The Quang Binh People’s Committee said a press conference will be held to announce the discovery of the caves, which suggests that more caves in local mountains are yet to be discovered.
