Soprano Cho Hae-ryong, pianist Sun Young-ju and violinist Ga Huyn-cho of the Republic of Korea will take part in a performance at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on September 21 to mark the 20 th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties.

Accompanies by the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, the three internationally acclaimed artists will perform River of My Mind, Song of Old Home Town, Less Filles de Cadix, Je Vex Vivre Dans ce Reve and to pieces from L. Van Beethoven’s concerto for piano and violin.

Meanwhile, in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, an exhibition of 200 photographs and calligraphy works featuring Vietnam and the RoK is underway.

As aimed to celebrate 20 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the exhibition highlights traditional culture as well as modern life in the two countries while introducing their long-standing relationship to younger generations through pictures illustrating renovation and socio-economic development.

The exhibition will run until September 23.-VNA
