National Assembly (NA) deputies adopted the Law on Public Investment and
the revised Construction Law at a plenary session on June 18.

the revised Construction Law at a plenary session on June 18.
The revised Construction Law will take effect on January 1, 2015.
The lawmakers also discussed the draft revised Law on Housing, focusing on the house ownership of Vietnamese people residing abroad, as well as foreign organisations and individuals in Vietnam, and issues related to social housing development.
Regarding the draft revised Law on Real Estate Business, the legislators debated types of property to be owned by enterprises and the scope of real estate business for Vietnamese people residing abroad and foreign organisations and individuals in Vietnam .
Conditions for organisations and individuals involved in real estate business and investment policies for property business were also tabled.
The NA will continue working on June 19.-VNA
