NA chairman attends AIPA 32’s executive committee meeting
National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on Sept. 19 attended a
meeting of the 32 nd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-32)’s
Executive Committee, which was chaired by Cambodian NA Chairman Heng
Samrin.

The meeting aimed to adopt the working programme and agenda of AIPA-32 Gerneral Assembly, dialogue topics with observer nations and other issues.
At the meeting, the Executive Committee agreed on a Resolution on admitting Myanmar as an official member of AIPA.
They also approved the member lists of the commissions of political, social, economic and organizational issues and the commission of Women Parliamentarians of AIPA (WAIPA).
Earlier the same day, the Meeting of Women Parliamentarians of AIPA convened in Phnom Penh./.
