The Standing Committee of the 13th National Assembly convened its second session in Hanoi on September 26.

Addressing the opening ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the second session of the 13th NA Standing Committee has the key task of preparation for the second session of the 13th legislature.

At this session, the NA Standing Committee will make recommendations to seven bills: the cryptography law, advertising law, the law on price management, the law on legal dissemination and education, the law on judicial verification, the law on tertiary education, and the law on prevention and control of harmful effects of tobacco.

The committee will give opinions on the law and ordinance making programme of the 13th National Assembly.

It will also contribute opinions to Government reports on implementation of socio-economic development plan and State budget estimates for 2011, orientations, tasks and socio-economic development plans and state budget estimates and allocations for 2012, the 2011-2015 socio-economic development plan, the 2011-2015 national target programme and the use of Government bonds from now until 2015, among other issues./.
