National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu has asked for facilitated visits by Vietnamese and Algerian lawmakers and increased supervision over the implementation of commitments signed by governments and agencies between the two countries.

He made the request at a reception for Algerian Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh in Hanoi on June 11, adding that Louh’s visit would further deepen their legal and judicial ties for the sake of the Vietnam-Algeria relationship.

Informing the host of the outcomes of his visit, Louh said the two justice ministries signed a legal and judicial cooperation plan for 2016-2017, under which they will continue working closely to foster all-around links between the two countries and legislatures.

He expressed his hope for increased visit exchanges to raise mutual understanding and trust, laying a firm foundation for two-way extensive collaboration in every domain.-VNA
