Vietnam 's national football team stands at 98 in the June rankings, one step down from May, according to FIFA's latest rankings.

This is the seventh consecutive month Vietnam have been placed in the world's top 100.

In South-East Asia, Vietnam remain the leader, followed by Thailand and the Phillippines.

Spain still lead the world thanks to their three recent friendly victories against Serbia , the Republic of Korea and China . Uruguay and Germany are second and third, respectively.

In Asia, Japan take first place, followed by Australia and the RoK.

On the women's side, Vietnam rank 31st in the world rankings in the second quarter of the year, sixth in the Asian region and second in Southeast Asia behind Thailand.-VNA
