New UK, Australia visa application centre opens in Da Nang
The Embassies of the UK and Australia in Vietnam have launched a new visa application centre in the central city of Da Nang on December 13.
At the launching ceremony (Photo: VNA)With the new office, Vietnamese citizens in the central region will no longer have to travel to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City to submit their visa applications to the UK and Australia.
Located at ACB Building - No.218, Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District, the centre will open between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
Deputy Head of Mission at the UK Embassy Stephen Lysaght said the UK Government pledges to improve visa services for Vietnamese people.
The embassy will offer online visa application along with documents in Vietnamese about requirements to get a visa, he added.
He hoped the new service will help expand tourism, trade and education cooperation between Vietnam and the UK.
Additional services at the Da Nang office include urgent visa application, application without appointment, and translation./.
