A memorial service to rebury 101 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and specialists who were killed on the battlefields in Laos was held on Jan. 7 in the central province of Nghe An.

The remains were found by special task forces of Vientiane and Xieng Khuang of Laos and a search team of Nghe An province.

Of the remains, only six sets were identified: Pham Phung Lam in the northern province of Hai Duong, Phan Bui Son and Pham Van Thao in the central province of Nghe An, Dao Van Thanh in Thanh Oai district, Hanoi, Bui Cong Luyen and Nguyen Van Thap in the northern province of Ha Bac./.
