The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam said it is co-coordinating with the central province of Quang Ngai , the Vietnamese embassy and authorized Philippine agencies to complete necessary procedures to help the fishermen return home.
Previously, t he Consular Department under the Ministry sent diplomatic notes to the embassies of the Philippines, Malaysia, and China in Hanoi to call for their authorized agencies’ support for Vietnamese fishing vessels, which were seeking shelters to avoid tropical low pressure area on the East Sea./.
