The Prime Minister has approved a project that looks to enhance the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the role of non-State entities in combating the scourge.

The UN Development Programme-assisted project will be carried out in four years with a total cost of over 1.5 million USD, which comprises 1.478 million USD as non-refundable ODA and about 84,400 USD as counterpart capital.

The project is to improve the Government’s capacity of abiding by the Convention, build a data on corruption control and prevention, and better social organisations’ supervision over the work.-VNA
