According to the ministry’s Overseas Labour Management Department, in the first seven months, Taiwan ( China ) received the largest number of Vietnamese workers with some 20,000. It was followed by the Republic of Korea , Malaysia and Japan with over 13,500, 5,886 and 3,527 people, respectively.
This year the country set a target of sending 87,000 workers abroad./.
