Hanoi (VNA) – Beautiful natural landscapes and people of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) are depicted in the works of Vietnamese painters Nguyen Van Cuong, Le Van Thin, and Doan Hong.

Entitled “Connect”, their painting exhibition, which opened at the Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) in Hanoi on December 29, displays 46 paintings using different materials such as lacquer, oils, and pastels.

Aside from boosting cultural exchange between the two countries’ artists, the KCC hopes that the RoK residents in Vietnam will have a better understanding of the host country’s culture and people via the exhibition.

The event will run until January 20 next year.

There are about 140,000 people from the RoK living and working in Vietnam , according to the KCC.-VNA
