Hanoi (VNA/NNT) - Pang Sida National Park in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo province will organize the 12th annual butterfly festival in a couple of weeks.

According to the park, the fair will host a butterfly parade, a walk/run mini marathon, and bike trips promoting the national park's viewing spots.

Those interested are invited to join the event from July 8 - 10, with an official opening ceremony being organized on July 9.

The 844-square-kilometer national park spans lush jungle mountains with valleys, cliffs, grasslands, and waterfalls. The area is a home to more than 450 species of butterflies and known as "the butterfly city of the East" among tourists.-VNA
