General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Nguyen Phu Trong has made it clear that Vietnam always wishes to bolster cooperation with African nations, including Seychelles.

Greeting President of Seychelles James Alix Michel in Hanoi on August 28, Party leader Trong said he believes under the leadership of the Seychelles People’s Progressive Front (SPPF), Seychelles people will reap greater outcomes in building and defending their country.

The host delivered his hope that following the visit, Vietnam and Seychelles will continue perfecting their legal foundation to foster the mutually-beneficial cooperation.

Michel informed his host of the outcomes of his talks with President Truong Tan Sang and the current situation of his country and SPPF.

The President also noted his desire to further expand solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the CPV and the SPPF and between the two nations in almost spheres, especially in economics, trade and investment.-VNA
