HCM City (VNA) – More than 80 photos highlighting Ho Chi Minh City’s dynamic development and integration efforts are being displayed along Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets in HCM City.

As part of activities to celebrate the 41st anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam that led to national reunification (April 30), the event has attracted a crowd of local and foreign visitors.

Vietnam’s 1975 victory, a glorious moment in the history of the struggle for liberation and independence, people’s steadfast struggle in the south, and contributions from localities nationwide to the victory, are reflected vividly in photos at the exhibition.

It also shines a light on the city’s recent changes and strong development./.

A similar event, displaying 70 photos on the city’s efforts to promote industrialisation and modernisation, is also arranged at the city’s labour culture palace.

It focuses on HCM City’s young human resources, who are a core force in researching and applying advanced technologies in production, contributing to promoting the city’s socio-economic development.-VNA
