city of Hai Phong from August 28 to September 6.
The 10-day event is part of activities to welcome the National Tourism Year 2013.
Jointly organised by the Department for Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists from March 21 to June 30, the contest received over 2,900 works submitted by 286 photographers across the country.
Apart from the photos, the exhibition will also display 153 pictures on the daily life of naval soldiers, who are guarding the country’s territorial waters.-VNA
