Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has affirmed that Vietnam is willing to share its experience and coordinate with Laos in all fields of cooperation, including those between the two Government Offices.

Receiving Sinlavong Khoutphaytoon, Minister and Head of the Government Office of Laos, in Hanoi on June 27, PM Dung said studying each other’s experience and promoting mutual support are of significant importance to both countries.

Expressing his pleasure at the developing traditional friendship between the two countries, the PM emphasised that Vietnam values its ties with Laos.

The PM further affirmed that Vietnam will do its utmost to work with Laos to boost bilateral ties between the two countries in a deep, effective and practical manner.

In reply, Sinlavong Khoutphaytoon briefed his host on the cooperation results between the two Government Offices over the past years.

He said his visit aims to strengthen experience sharing between the two sides and modernise the two offices with a view to effectively implement the directions of the Governments and Prime Ministers.

Earlier, the Lao official held talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Vu Duc Dam. They discussed major issues of internal regulation systems and cooperation between the two offices as well as among offices of the Central Committees of the two Parties, parliaments, ministries and local sectors.

The two sides also shared their experiences in specifying Party resolutions and the detailed plans of actions of both Governments, ministries and sectors.-VNA
