Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has praised Egyptian Ambassador Mohamed Reda Kamel El-Taify for his contribution in fostering cooperation between the two countries, especially in economics and trade.

Meeting the outgoing diplomat on January 15, PM Dung thanked the Egyptian Government for recognising the market economy of Vietnam.

He underscored that Vietnam attaches much importance to cooperation with Egypt for mutual benefit and development, suggesting that the two sides should organise the fifth meeting of their Inter-Governmental Committee in an early date to boost their economic partnership.

PM Dung said he hopes the ambassador will continue exerting efforts to further the cooperation between Vietnam and Egypt.

Ambassador Mohamed Reda Kamel El-Taify congratulated Vietnam on its achievements in many fields.

He affirmed that his country is keen on boosting ties with Vietnam, especially in economics and trade.

The diplomat said whatever position he serves, he will do his utmost to further foster the cooperation between the two countries.-VNA
