Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a welcome speech to his distinguished guests, saying it was the second time China hosted the APEC Summit, which coincides with the 25th founding anniversary of APEC this year.
The banquet was held at the National Aquatics Centre, also known as the “Water Cube”, which was built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.-VNA
