President Truong Tan Sang on August 14 received the newly-appointed Ambassadors of the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Argentina who came to present their credentials.

At the reception for the RoK’s Ambassador Jun Dae-joo, President Sang expressed belief that with experience of his 18 years living in Vietnam, Jun will have many initiatives to further the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The president voiced pleasure at the unceasingly development of the bilateral ties over the past years, adding that the two countries have been adopting numerous measures to further boost the cooperation in economy, trade and investment.

Ambassador Jun Dae-joo pledged to spare no effort to bolster the multifaceted cooperative relations between Vietnam and RoK during his term in Vietnam.

While meeting with Argentinean Ambassador Claudio Ricardo Gutierrez, the State leader expressed his delight at the positive development of the all-around ties between the two countries.

The visit to Vietnam of Argentinean President Cristina Fernández Kirchner early this year will further boost the two countries’ relation, bringing about practical benefits for the mutual development of Vietnam and Argentina, he added.

President Sang affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will create every possible condition for Ambassador Gutierrez to best perform his mission in Vietnam.

The Argentinean diplomat said his country considers Vietnam a key partner in the region. He promised to do his utmost to foster the relation between the two countries.-VNA
