At the event, Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang said the country is dealing with new challenges, especially complicated developments in the East Sea and an increase in negative phenomena stemming from the market economy and international integration.

The public security force, therefore, will continue renovating itself to ensure security and order in all fields, prevent and push back plans and attempts that could cause political instability in the country, Quang stated.

On the occasion, the Minister presented the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” to several units and individuals in recognition of their service to the sector./.
