processing and packaging, ProPak Vietnam 2013, was launched on March 20
in Ho Chi Minh City with the aim of raising processing
effectiveness.

The event drew the participation of 250 companies from 29 countries and territories with five large-scale stalls from Germany, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Thailand and Taiwan.
The three-day expo co-organised by Thailand’s Bangkok Exhibition Services (BES) and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Exhibition Services expects to attract 8,000 industry professionals.
At the expo, organisers introduced advanced technologies in food, drink, and medicine processing and packaging.
According to BES Director General Justin Pau and Vice Director of VCCI Exhibition Services Phan Thi My Dung, the event provides business opportunities for companies to support the development of the country’s industrial sectors.
The expo also includes various workshops relevant to food security and safety.-VNA
