With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 22,818 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,490 VND per USD.
In the opening hour, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,720 VND per USD, and the selling rate at 22,790 VND per USD, both up 5 VND.
BIDV offered the buying rate at 22,715 VND per USD and the selling rate at 22,785 per USD, both down 5 VND.
In Vietinbank, the buying rate was listed 22,730 VND per one USD, up 20 VND, while the selling rate was 22,800 VND per one USD, up 10 VND from the previous day.
Eximbank bought one USD for 22,700 VND and sold one USD for 22,800 VND, unchanged from December 20.-VNA
