The reference exchange rate on October 12 was set at 21,997 VND for one USD, up 10 VND from the day before.

Slight changes were recorded in the USD price listed by commercial banks in the early opening hours.
The buying rate listed by Vietcombank was 22,260 VND per USD, while the selling rate was 22,330 VND, down 5 VND from the afternoon of the previous day.
Rates were listed at 22,260 – 22,350 VND/USD by BIDV.
Meanwhile, Techcombank posted buying and selling prices at 22,250 - 22,350 VND per US dollar.-VNA
