The National Cinema Centre presents a Russian Film Week starting on November 7 until November 11.

The Russia’s film week programme aims to promote cultural exchanges and strengthen traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in the time to come, said Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien at the launching event in Hanoi on November 7.

For his part, Russian Federation to Vietnam Charge D’ affaires Gennady S. Bezdetko stressed that since the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership signed in 2012, strong developments have been seen in the politic, military, economic, scientific and cultural relations.

The cultural cooperation between the two countries has been promoted vigorously. Russian and Vietnamese leaders’ visits and people to people exchanges have contributed to cementing mutual understanding and creating favourable conditions for two countries to obtain their common goals.

Vietnamese audiences will have a chance to enjoy several top Russian films including “Mothers”, “Christmas Tree”, “Five Brides”, “My Boyfriend-Angel” and “White Tiger”./.
