Russian official visits Vietnam
Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of Staff and Vice Chairman of
the Vietnam-Russia Cooperation Sub-Committee, received in Hanoi on June
17 Aleksei Burdelnyi, Secretary of the Russia Sub-Committee of the
Russia-Vietnam Inter-Governmental Committee on military technical
cooperation.
Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of Staff and Vice Chairman of
the Vietnam-Russia Cooperation Sub-Committee, received in Hanoi on June

Russia-Vietnam Inter-Governmental Committee on military technical
cooperation.
Khanh spoke highly of the comprehensive cooperative relations between the two countries, including that in national defence.
He expressed his wish that the two sides will continue helping each other in the maintenance and upgrade of a number of weapons and equipment Russia provided to Vietnam during the wartime, as well as the manuals of some kinds of new weapons.
During his working visit to Vietnam, the Russian official and Russian and Vietnamese experts will check and agree on a number of weapons that need maintenance and repair as well as components to be replaced.-VNA
