Chief engineers from the governments of Thailand and Myanmar have held their final meeting to discuss the details of the planned construction of the bridge.
The neighbours have agreed to implement the project as soon as possible, with the Myanmar government assuring its Thai counterpart of its readiness in every aspect, including the clearance of the land required.
