The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) are conducting a bilateral naval exercise from March 11-15.

According to the Singaporean Defence Ministry’s statement issued on March 11, this year's exercise, called Exercise Pelican , marks the 32nd in the series.

The exercise involves series of tactical discussions and simulation exercises in naval warfare, such as anti-surface, anti-submarine, anti-air and maritime air operations. It underscores strong and long-standing ties between the two countries.

Besides Exercise Pelican, the two navies also interact regularly through  visits, professional exchanges and cross-attendance of courses, said the ministry.-VNA
