The Thai Plastic and Chemicals Company, a subsidiary of SCG, acquired 9.8 million shares (22.6 percent) of the Tien Phong Plastics Joint Stock Company (JSC) and 5.8 million shares (16.7 percent) of the Binh Minh Plastics JSC, both of which are leading manufacturers of PVC pipes in Vietnam .
This extra injection of investment into Vietnam by SCG now raises the group’s total investment in Vietnam to 370 million USD.-VNA
