Bangkok (VNA) – Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said on January 17 that representatives from political parties and groups will be invited to join dialogues for national reconciliation.

After the weekly cabinet meeting, the PM said the dialogues will allow participants to address conflicts among them, which lead to street protests.

The dialogues will run for three months, organised by a committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Prawit Wongsuwon.

The participants will be asked to sign "a memorandum of understanding” on national reconciliation.-VNA
