Thailand sets date for constitution referendum
A referendum on Thailand’s new constitution will be held on July 31, announced Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon.

He stressed that the general election will be held next year, however, he did not give details.
All parties must accept the outcome after the election, he said, adding that the constitution is the rule for the election.
However, Prawit did not mention which constitution will be applied for the election in case that the drafting new constitution is rejected.-VNA
