Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Tina S.Kaidanow made the remark while meeting with Deputy Minister of National Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh, in Hanoi on June 7.

She expressed her belief that the two countries’ ties will be further developed for peace and cooperation in the region and the world.

Senior Lieutenant General Vinh lauded the partnership between Vietnam and the US, which has been cemented after President Barack Obama’s recent visit to Vietnam.
