The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has seen its impressive growth in both scale of operation and sales revenue in the Republic of Korea (RoK) market.

The carrier’s branch in the RoK recorded a fourteen percent increase in business in 2013 as compared with last year, three percent higher than this year’s target, according to Cao Anh Son - Head of Vietnam Airlines Representative Office in Seoul .

The launch of Incheon - Danang direct flights in early July has raised the total number of weekly flights between the two countries from 35 to 47.

It aims to create favorable condition for passengers of the two countries, representing Vietnam Airlines’ prestige and position among other international airlines.

Currently, the carrier has five direct air routes linking Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City with Incheon and Busan.-VNA
