Algeria is willing to train Vietnamese judges and prosecutors either in Algeria or Vietnam, Minister of Justice Tayeb Belaiz has said.

He expressed wishes to further expand cooperation between the judicial bodies of the two countries during a working session with officials from the Central Steering Committee of Judicial Reform of Vietnam.

The Vietnamese officials, led by Le Thi Thu Ba, Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee, paid a working visit to Algeria from November 16-21 to study the organisation and operation of judicial agencies of the host country.

They were eager to learn about court, investigation and procuracy systems as well as law enforcement and the judicial reform process and seek cooperation opportunities in the coming time.

They also had working sessions with President of the Council of State Fella Heni and Chief Judge of the Supreme Court Kaddour Berradja of Algeria

The Algerian side showed their willingness to share experiences in the field with Vietnam, marking an increase in the judicial ties between the two countries.-VNA
