Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has been voted one of the 20 best countries in the world to visit in a recent survey by US magazine Condé Nast Traveler.
Readers voted for the list based on which countries have the best food and places to stay and offer the most bang for their buck.
Vietnam ranked 20th, while Greece and Italy ranked first and second.
The US held its place in third.
Two Asian countries ranked in the top 10: India at seventh and Thailand at ninth.
This year’s Readers’ Choice Awards attracted the highest level of participation in the magazine’s history.
Other Readers’ Choice Awards include the world’s best cruise lines, hotels, spas and airlines.-VNA
