Vietnam will provide professional training for Cambodia ’s Government Inspectorate and send specialists to help improve the sector’s capacity.

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Inspectorate’s of both countries’ was signed in Phnom Penh on Feb. 13 during a visit to Cambodia by Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh. The visit is being made at the invitation of Cambodia ’s Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Inspection Minister Men Sam An.
Both agreed to continue exchanging delegations and related information.

Also during their discussions, both informed each other of their respective socio-economic development and other topics including inspecting, solving complaints and accusations and fighting corruption.

Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An also presented the Cambodian Government’s Friendship Order to Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh and the Vietnamese Inspectorates’ Training School.

During 2006-2011, the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate held four professional training classes for 78 Cambodian cadres and delivered two professional teaching classes to Cambodian officials./.
