Vietnam attends int’l defence exhibition in Indonesia
A Vietnamese military delegation led by Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan,

participating in the ‘Indo Defense Expo 2014” held in Indonesia from
November 5-9.

The exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Defence, displays the latest weaponry from approximately 700 defence industrial enterprises from 56 countries.
International companies showcasing their products include SAAB, BAE Systems, Sukhoi Aviation, Avibras, Airbus Defence, DSME, Embraer Defense & Systems, Defence Technologies Beretta and Bell Helicopter Textron, amongst others.
In addition to the exhibition, Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence also held a series of seminars aiming to increase the capability of the local weapon industry by permitting foreign investors to own up to 49 percent of shares in defence companies.-VNA
