Vietnamese exhibitors have joined 4,600 others from more than 50 countries and territories at the 18 th Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) that opened on October 17.

Vietnam ’s pavilion, showcasing a wide range of products including rice, coffee, cashew nuts, and ceramics, drew the attention of crowded visitors.

The annual four-day MIF, serves as a useful forum for regional and international businesses to exchange information, explore potential partnerships and discover investment opportunities.

Featuring more than 1,900 pavilions, this year’s event saw a rise in the number of both booths and participants by 4.6 percent and 17 percent respectively.

According to Vietnam ’s Consul General in Hong Kong and Macau, Nguyen Thi Nha, the event has offered a great chance for Vietnam to introduce its economic potentials and culture to investors and seek partners and business opportunities.

Since its launch in 1996, the trade fair has grown into a key event promoting Macau ’s economic development.
