The meeting between the writers’ associations of Vietnam and China offers a chance for the two sides to deepen their cooperation in literature.

Writer and President of the Vietnamese Writers’ Association Huu Thinh made the affirmation while receiving a delegation from the Chinese Writers’ Association led by its President Tie Ning in Hanoi on November 5.

He expressed his hope that the two associations will further strengthen literature exchange through diverse methods, as well as establish an open forum on many issues that concern their writers.

Tie Ning said the delegation’s members were greatly impressed by Vietnam’s strong development as well as its people’s love of literature.
